Power Rangers is a popular media franchise originating in Japan and produced by the company Saban Entertainment (now owned by Hasbro). This series tells the story of a group of teenagers who turn into a superhero team to fight crime and protect the world from the threat of monsters and villains who want to rule the world.
Each team member has special powers and costumes derived from crystals or futuristic technology, and they use giant robots (called zords) to defeat giant monsters sent by the main villain.
Power Rangers first aired in 1993 and until now has had more than 25 series with different themes and characters. The series has a huge following and has influenced popular culture around the world.
