Power Rangers Season 2 (often also called Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Season 2) is the second season of the Power Rangers franchise. This season first aired in 1994 and consists of 52 episodes.
Season 2's story continues the five Power Rangers' adventures in fighting evil, this time against a new enemy named Lord Zedd, an evil villain who wants to destroy the Power Rangers and rule the world. Additionally, in Season 2, Tommy Oliver became the White Ranger and assisted the Power Rangers in fighting new enemies.
Season 2 featured plenty of action and battle scenes between the Power Rangers and the monster Lord Zedd produced using suitmation technology. Apart from that, Season 2 also features new characters such as Ninjor, Goldar, and Rito Revolto.
Power Rangers Season 2 was a resounding success and remains one of the most beloved seasons by Power Rangers fans. This season is also known for several key moments in Power Rangers history, including the debut of the White Ranger and the release of the first feature film, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie.
